Short Bio: As the Chief Operating Officer at Miramoon Pharma, I bring over two decades of experience spanning developmental neuroscience, regenerative therapies, and the pharmaceutical industry. Since transitioning to the corporate sector in 2020, I have successfully led R&D strategies, regulatory activities with the EMA, and strategic partnerships, driving innovation from the laboratory to patient-oriented solutions. I hold a PhD in Neuroscience from Miguel Hernández University and have conducted research at world-renowned institutions, including The Scripps Research Institute and UCSF. My scientific contributions include numerous publications in high-impact journals like Science and Neuron. Additionally, I represent Spain on the Management Committee of the pan-European COST Action Retina4Future.

Short Bio: I am Head of the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy at Albanian University. I hold a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Medicine, Tirana, and have a background in both academia and the Albanian healthcare system. My research focuses on precision medicine, oncology, pharmacology, health technology assessment (HTA), artificial intelligence in healthcare, and medical education. I am particularly interested in translating research into clinical practice through interdisciplinary collaboration, data-driven approaches, and innovative healthcare technologies. As a Management Committee member of COST Action CA24105 (Retina4Future), I look forward to contributing my expertise in clinical research methodology, evidence synthesis, and international collaboration to support the development of innovative strategies for retinal disease diagnosis and therapy.

Short Bio: Dr. Francisco J. Díaz-Corrales is a neurologist and Group Leader of the Retinal Neurodegeneration and Advanced Therapies laboratory at the Centro Andaluz de Biología Molecular y Medicina Regenerativa (CABIMER), Seville, Spain. He obtained his PhD in Neuroscience from Okayama University, Japan, and has extensive experience in translational neuroscience and regenerative medicine. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying inherited retinal diseases and age-related retinal degeneration, with a particular emphasis on gene therapy, stem cell-based approaches, retinal organoids, and advanced 3D models for therapeutic development. Dr. Díaz-Corrales coordinates national and international collaborative projects aimed at translating innovative therapies into clinical applications for blinding disorders and improving precision medicine strategies in ophthalmology.
