Sandra Tenreiro, Chair of the Retina4Future COST Action, is organizing the upcoming EMBO Workshop “Proteostasis shaping health span: from protein folding to failure”, an international scientific meeting dedicated to the latest advances in protein homeostasis, aging, and disease biology.
The workshop will bring together leading researchers working on proteostasis, neurodegeneration, cellular stress responses, autophagy, and protein quality control to discuss how failures in these pathways contribute to aging and human disease. The meeting aims to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and foster new scientific partnerships across different research fields and career stages.
The event will take place in Ericeira, Portugal, and will feature an international programme of speakers and discussions focused on the molecular mechanisms that shape health span and disease progression.
More information, including the scientific programme and registration details, is available at the official EMBO meeting page.
